Katy is a choreographer, acrobat, and actor in the Dallas area. She has performed at multiple theaters in Dallas including Undermain, Theatre Three, Shakespeare Dallas, and Dallas Children’s Theater. In 2012, Katy began creating original movement-theater pieces with Jeff Colangelo involving aerial silks and hand-to-hand balancing. In addition to her work with PrismCo, Katy has worked with Pilobolus Dance Theater, and has written original plays such asI’m A Girl But My Favorite Color is Blue and Point. Katy received her BFA in Theater Studies from Southern Methodist University in 2015.

GOG AND MAGOG: TWO CLOWNS TRAPPED IN HELL

Espinosa-Müller, and Liz Magallanes will star in this world premiere about two clowns trapped in hell’s kitchen and their only hope of escape is cooking the perfect meal for God. Though Gog and Magog are best friends, they are terrible cooks. Their friendship is tested along with their culinary skills in this wordless comedy in the tradition of Mump and Smoot and the Three Stooges. Cara Mía Theatre and Prism Movement Theater reunite for another co-production that will be sure to surprise and fill your bellies with laughter.

This fantastical story follows a lonely and ship-wrecked Prospero as she seeks revenge after being betrayed by her brother, Antonio. While fighting to survive and maintain her sanity, Prospero encounters Sycorax, a woman who can control the forces of nature. While navigating the rules of the island and how to overcome her past, Prospero’s pain and despair leads her to become the very monster she never wanted to be.
